Meet & Greet at the Indiana Statehouse

Our goals are to build relationships with our legislators, to educate them about NAMI and those affected by serious mental illnesses, and ask for their support for policies and laws that provide help to those who need it.

NAMI Indiana's Public Policy Committee prepares for the  yearly legislative session and the annual Meet & Greet advocacy day.  If you are interested in staying informed, please join our email list or check back for additional details.

HOW TO PREPARE:

Please join us for a NAMISmarts training. The date will be set soon. Those who express interest through their registration will receive notice.

Parking and Security:

Parking is available at meters along the streets or in garages. You will enter the Statehouse through the east doors at the corner of Capitol Avenue & Market Street, where you will go through a metal detector and bags will be x-rayed. The ADA entrance to the Statehouse is at the lower level, west doors, from Senate Avenue (Robert D. Orr Plaza)

NAMI Indiana will be on the 3rd floor in the south atrium.
