NAMI Elkhart County is an affiliate of NAMI Indiana and part of the nation's largest grassroots mental health advocacy organization. NAMI Elkhart County serves the whole county by providing support and education to people and families impacted by mental illness as well as awareness to the community at large.  

NAMI programs available in Elkhart County:

A free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions.


The next Family to Family in-person class:


Tentatively planned for February.

A peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. 


Every 2nd Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Oaklawn, Goshen Campus 

This support group is on hold and will not be meeting until further notice. 

Additional programming available online:

A free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. These sessions are available as a live online course and are taught by peers in Indiana. Sign up to be notified when registration opens.

A self-paced online education program for parents, caregivers, and other family members who provide care for youth (ages 22 and younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms. This program is free to participants. Learn more or sign up now.
