NAMI Indiana affiliates provide two types of support groups:
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. By sharing your experiences in a safe and confidential setting, you can gain hope and feel a sense of connection. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion, and a sense of community.
NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. By sharing your experiences in a safe and confidential setting, you can gain hope and feel a sense of connection. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion, and a sense of community.
All NAMI support groups are offered at no cost.
Participants must be at least 18 yrs. of age. No referral is necessary.
