NAMI Grant/Blackford Counties is an affiliate of NAMI Indiana and part of the nation's largest grassroots mental health advocacy organization. NAMI Grant/Blackford serves both Grant and Blackford counties by providing support and education to people and families impacted by mental illness as well as awareness to the community at large. 

NAMI Grant/Blackford is looking for support group leaders to provide NAMI Family Support Group or the NAMI Connections Recovery Support Group in-person on a regular basis. 

Support groups are led by peers who are impacted by a mental health condition The state chapter, NAMI Indiana, provides the training and works with support group leaders to set up the meetings. If you are interested in starting a support group or learning more contact the NAMI Indiana State Program Director, Linda Williams at lwilliams@namiindiana.org to ask about the application process.  Trainings take place throughout the year.

Programming available virtually online:

A free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. These sessions are available as a live online course and are taught by peers in Indiana. Sign up to be notified when registration opens.
